School meals

Healthy eating is actively encouraged at Fakenham Junior School.

The school cafeteria offers popular hot and cold meal options to purchase for £2.30, this includes dessert. A full menu is available on the school website. Water and milk are provided free of charge.  All meals must be paid for, in advance, via the school’s online payment system.

  • All pupils are expected to keep the dining area clean and tidy and children take turns to wipe trays.
  • Children can bring a healthy snack for break-time, this must be fruit/dried fruit or vegetable based. No nuts, we are a nut free school.
  • Children may choose to bring a packed lunch to eat in the School Hall.
  • Lunchtime supervision in the cafeteria/hall and on the playground/field is provided by a team of mid-day supervisors and senior staff.
